Freelancers Needed to Write Introduction to Business Assessment Questions

by John Soares on October 14, 2010

Hey folks, there’s an opportunity here to write multiple-choice test questions. Here’s what the company sent me:

Writers for Introduction to Business assessment questions needed.

We’re looking for freelance assessment writers to help write challenging questions for a college intro-level business testbank. This project is unusual in that the questions are going to be used for several textbooks. For example, all the books have chapters (or at least discussions) on ethics in business. We’re looking for questions that require students to apply a concept to a new situation – that make them think about the topics. We’re NOT looking for simple questions that merely ask students to memorize the definition of a term. Questions are mainly multiple choice; writers will need to tell what objective and what AACSB skill the question is tied to.

For more information, please contact Mark Mayell at mmayell@premediaglobal.com.

I’ve worked for PreMedia Global before. They’ll give you good support and they pay on time. (Note: this listing is from 2010)

Note – writing questions, especially multiple choice, that require students to use analytical and critical-thinking skills is not easy. You need to have good knowledge of business (or at least good knowledge in the subject matter of specific chapters you can work on) AND you need to have good skills writing test questions.

For advice on how to do it, see my post on writing great multiple-choice questions.

You’re welcome…
