Copyblogger just had an excellent post called 73 Ways to Become a Better Writer. Not all of them are relevant for textbook supplement and ancillary writers, but many of them are. Here’s a few that I find especially pertinent:

6. Outline. And then write to that outline.

10. Take a break between writing and editing.

14. Read grammar books.

15. Write without distractions.

22. Go back and cut 10% from your word count.

32. When in doubt, cut it out.

33. Kill clunky sentences.

55. Write during your most productive hours of the day.

Many of you may also write in other writing fields, so you should definitely check out the entire list. Take the best suggestions and apply them now.
